If there’s one recurring theme I hear when I discuss relationships with my friends, neighbors, random people in airports, it’s that their partners/companions don’t understand them. Men think that their women “just don’t get it”, and women think that their men “don’t have a clue”. So after doing some research, here’s Part I of a two-fold effort to level the playing field. With school back in session we're sure you've all seen the teeny boppers with their backpacks on, making the journey to their respective schools - be it middle school, high school, or college. Personally, while watching them day in and day out on the buses and trains or out in the streets, I always find myself wondering (in addition to fighting for a seat) "What are they really learning for 7 hours everyday?" I remember being in middle and high schools pretty clearly and reminiscing on those days makes one thing clear to me: times have certainly changed. Click to read more.

Money Talks: Savers

So now that I have finished berating the spenders of the world, next on the chopping block: savers. Now don't get me wrong, saving is extremely important. If you happen to fall in the "saver" category, I tip my Yankees fitted cap to you. But the question then becomes: How are you saving your money? Is it stashed under your bed or in your top drawer? Or have you started to make your money work for you instead of the other way around?

Giants: Overrated??

According to the Cleveland Browns' fans - yes! With 2 minutes left in the fourth quarter, and the score 35-14 (Browns), the Cleveland fans started chanting "overrated!" as a taunt to the recent superbowl champs.

If u remember in the previous big blue post, they were undefeated. Not anymore! The now 4-1 Giants lost to the Cleveland Browns by 3 touchdowns.


Random factoid: the city of Cleveland has never won a professional sport championship - well not recently at least; which is bad because they have three major sports franchises. The Browns won the NFL Championship in 1964. Can you believe that it was so long ago there wasn't even a Superbowl?! The Indians won the World series nearly 2 decades before that in 1948. And the Cavaliers have never won an NBA championship. Even Clevelands short-lived hockey team, the Barons, never won a chip. SMH. In 2004, Cleveland was named "tortured sports city in America" by ESPN.
